1953 Porsche 356 PREA SUNROOF COUPE

We are delighted to be able to offer this timeless classic: a 1953 Porsche 356 Pre-A coupe by Reutter.

In excellent condition inside and out, this model is one of several vehicles built with the “bent-window” front windshield. The bent-window design was used in post-WWII Germany to counter restrictions on using curved windshield technology in case it was needed for airplanes.

Other distinct characteristics which set this elegant 1953 Porsche 356 apart is its distinct V-shaped roof and rare sunroof, which was a very unusual feature on bent-window cars.

This 1953 Porsche 356, which has been upgraded with a larger and more powerful 912 Engine, comes with an extremely well-maintained light cream interior which contrasts the burgundy exterior beautifully.

The Torquey 912 engine makes this car the perfect choice for rallies and club drives whilst its original Telefunken radio is ideal for genteel meanders.
