Alpine A110 1300 G – Icon in Alpine Yellow

Few automobiles embody French motorsport heritage as completely as the Alpine A110. Light, compact, and purpose-built, the A110 earned its reputation in competition and became one of the defining European sports cars of its era.

This striking Alpine A110 1300 G, finished in vivid Alpine Yellow with a black interior, offers exceptional presence and perfectly reflects the model’s character.

Powered by the lively 1.3-litre engine mounted within Alpine’s famously lightweight construction, it delivers the agility and responsiveness that made the A110 a highly successful competition car.

This example is further distinguished by an additional fuel tank, a rare and evocative feature underscoring its long-distance sporting intent. The car has recently been repainted and benefits from well-documented maintenance history. The odometer currently reads approximately 100,000 km.

Yet the A110 has never been defined by figures alone. Its true appeal lies in its delicate steering, minimal weight, compact proportions, and the direct, unfiltered connection it creates between driver, road, and machine.

The sculpted fibreglass body remains as charismatic as ever, with pronounced wheel arches, a low roofline, and a distinctive front end that make it instantly recognisable from every angle.

In Alpine Yellow, the car takes on a particularly vibrant character—refined enough for a collection, yet unmistakably rooted in competition heritage. The black interior provides a purposeful contrast, simple and focused entirely on the driving experience.

Today, the Alpine A110 stands as a true motorsport icon and highly sought-after collector’s car, admired worldwide for its rarity, history, and exceptional driving qualities.

This 1300 G represents a compelling opportunity to acquire an A110 with strong character, an excellent period colour combination, and the unmistakable identity that defined Alpine. Beautiful, engaging, and instantly recognisable—this is the Alpine A110 at its most charismatic.

This Alpine A110 1300 G was fitted with rare factory options, including a front-mounted radiator and an additional central fuel tank, and was originally finished in Jaune Rédélé. Sold in 1970 to amateur rally driver François Orlandini, it competed for Écurie Jean Behra in several rallies and hillclimbs, notably achieving second place in the 1971 Junior Monte Carlo Rally.

Following an accident at the Coupe des Alpes later that year, the car passed through several owners before undergoing a comprehensive restoration. Its original chassis and tub were retained, while the bodywork was renewed and refinished in its historic yellow. It is offered with a report by Alpine historian Gilles Valerian, period entry documents, and historic photographs.
